Humans are social creatures who need full-fledged social systems to survive. There is a balance between nature and people that supports all natural systems. If someone breaks this cycle, it will affect all of nature, including humans, so development must be sustainable so that the next generation can survive without problems. Continuous means a long term or long term process. Sustainable development is the ultimate goal of a future-oriented society. Education plays an important role in achieving this goal. Education and sustainable development are interlinked as they address many different issues related to well-managed livelihoods, fairness and equity in society, sustainable economic growth and social development. Teachers are known as community torchbearers. It helps people follow the rules and norms of society and helps prepare them to become responsible citizens. So when educators sow the seeds of sustainable development among their students, their roots go deep into society. This paper discusses the importance of teacher education for achieving the Sustainable Development Goals. It also highlights the critical importance of education for sustainable development so that students can achieve the Sustainable Development Goals.
