The significance of English language learning and the role of digital videos in enhancing speaking skills, Arab students in Israel

Abstract
This study investigated the attitudes of Arab students at Elementary School regarding the utilization of digital videos in English language acquisition, with a particular focus on speaking skills. Additionally, the study explored the impact of digital video use on the development of students' speaking abilities. Data were collected through a questionnaire administered to a sample of 30 students, comprising 12 males and 18 females. The collected data were analyzed using the Statistical package for the Social Sciences (SPSS), which involved assessing the reliability of the research instrument and performing a one-sample t-test. The findings revealed that there is a significant effect the use of digital videos on the development of EFL Arab students' speaking skill. In other words, the research findings show that the digital videos could enhance vocabulary acquisition and students' oral proficiency; these results are consistent with (Phi Ho & Thanh Hong, 2019 and Argudo, 2024) [4, 21].
