A comprehensive evaluation of smartphone addiction and its impact on sleep quality among school-aged children: An observational study

Abstract
This observational study aimed to evaluate the
correlation between smartphone addiction and sleep quality among school
children aged 6–12 years in urban Belagavi. A total of 30 students were
selected using simple random sampling. Tools used included the Smartphone
Addiction Scale - Short Version (SAS-SV) and the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index
(PSQI). Data analysis was conducted using SPSS and Pearson Correlation
Coefficient.
